Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Cairo | Welcome to Egypt

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Gem Explore Egypt representative will meet and assist you. Transfer to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle, check in, and review your tour itinerary.
Accommodation: 4★ or 5★ hotel in Cairo (according to your selected package)

Day 2 – Giza Pyramids, Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) & Coptic Cair

Sleeper Train to Aswan
After breakfast, visit the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Later, explore Coptic Cairo, including the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. In the evening, board the overnight sleeper train to Aswan.

Accommodation: Sleeper Train (Half Board).

Day 3 – Aswan Nile Cruise Tour

Arrive in Aswan and transfer to your 5★ Nile cruise. Visit the Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

* This is an 8-day private Egypt tour package combining Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, a Nile Cruise, and sleeper train travel.
* Hotel accommodation is in 4-star or 5-star hotels, depending on the package selected by the customer.
* The Nile Cruise is based on a 5-star standard cruise. If the listed cruise is unavailable, a similar 5-star cruise of the same category will be provided.
* Travel between Cairo–Aswan and Luxor–Cairo is by overnight sleeper train on a half-board basis.
* The itinerary order may change according to the Nile Cruise sailing schedule, while all advertised sightseeing visits will still be included.
* Airport meet-and-greet, private transfers, a professional Egyptologist guide, entrance fees (except optional sites), and meals as listed in the itinerary are included.
* Entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the Tutankhamun Tomb in the Valley of the Kings requires separate tickets and is optional.
* International flights, Egypt entry visa, beverages during meals, personal expenses, optional activities, tipping, and gala dinners (if applicable) are not included.
* A valid passport is required, and a copy of your passport must be provided at least 48 hours before arrival to arrange train tickets and tour services.
* Comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and light clothing are recommended, especially during the warmer months.
