Day 1: Arrival to Cairo

When arriving to Cairo, our representative from GEM Explore will be waiting for you to help with passport control and luggage. Later on, they'll drive you in our private car to your hotel, to settle and get some rest.

Day 2: Visit Museum, Pyramids, Khan and board train to Aswan

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by GEM Explore Egyptologist to start your journey across Giza and Cairo. The tour will start by visiting the museum of Egyptian Antiques, the home of 120,000 of ancient Egyptian Antiques Collection that dates up to 6000 years old, including the Tutankhamun exhibit, which contains his golden Mask and jewelry.
In the afternoon and after lunch, you'll tour the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. After that, you will have a 20-minute camel ride across the great Pyramids and visit the Panoramic Place. Then, the tour will continue by visiting the Valley Temple of Khafre.
We can't miss spending an unforgettable night at Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. The Bazaar is in the historic center of Cairo; It was established as a center of trade in the Mamluk era. The Bazaar has various products of all kinds and shapes, from Silver, Copper, Brassware to Gold and Leather Goods.
In the evening, you will be picked up and taken to the train station to catch your sleeper train to Aswan. You'll have dinner there as well.

Day 3: Breakfast on board, check in in Aswan

You'll have breakfast in the train, then when you arrive to Aswan, our representative will be waiting to pick you up and take you to your hotel to check in.

Optional plan:
For an additional $110, you can have trip down to South Aswan to visit the Temples of Abu Simbel. There, you'll tour the four colossal statues of Ramses in front of the main temple are. By means of a complex engineering feat in the 1960s and with co-operation with UNESCO, the temples were salvaged from the rising waters of the Nile River caused by erection of the Aswan High Dam. They are a monument to the king Ramesses II. His wife Nefertari and children also have smaller figures, considered to be of lesser importance and were not given the same position of scale. This commemorates his victory at the Battle of Kadesh. The external rock relief figures have become an icon of the city of Nubia in Aswan.

Day 4: Sail through Aswan, Visit Aswan monuments

You will be escorted to the cruise, and while embarkation is taking place, our premium chefs will be preparing your lunch to have a delicious meal onboard. Before lunch you'll get a chance to explore the ancient monuments of Aswan and you'll start with one of Egypt’s most beautiful temples, the Temple of Isis at Philae and Aswan's High dam.
After lunch, you'll sail to the City of Gold, Kom Ombo to visit the magnificent and unusual double temple with its duplicated halls, courts and sanctuaries for the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Back to sailing and this time we land in Edfu and we spend the night there.

Day 5: Continue Aswan tours and sail to Luxor

After your breakfast onboard, you start with visiting the temple of Horus, This Ptolemaic temple, built between 237 and 57 BC, is one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt. Preserved by desert sand, which filled the place after the pagan cult was banned, the temple is dedicated to Horus, the avenging son of Isis and Osiris. With its roof intact, it is also one of the most atmospheric of ancient buildings. Then, you cross Egypt's scenic photo spot, the Esna Lock and now you're on our way to Luxor. You'll have some tea and dinner and then get ready for our Jalabiya party onboard. You'll spend the overnight in Luxor.

Day 6: Visit Luxor monuments

You'll have breakfast onboard, then you'll cross to the west bank to see the beautifully painted royal tombs at the valley of kings. For over a thousand years, the kings, queens, and nobles of the New Kingdom (1500-1070 B.C.) were buried in this valley, which is the world's most magnificent burial ground. During our excursion at the Valley of kings, you'll visit the temple of Deir El-Bahri, which means in Arabic, the “Temple of the Northern Monastery”. Your next stop will be the classical pieces of art, Hatshepsut's temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.
You'll have lunch onboard and spend some leisure time in the afternoon. Then, you'll spend the night in Luxor.

Day 7: Disembarkation, continue Luxor train, board train to Cairo

You'll have breakfast onboard, then prepare for the disembarkation. Before you leave Luxor, you're having a tour at the center of Luxor, the east bank, where you'll have an excursion to some of Luxor's temples including Karnak. Karnak remains the most remarkable religious complex ever built on earth. Its 250 acres of temples and chapels, obelisks, columns, and statues were built over 2,000 years. It visualizes Egyptian art and architecture into a great historical monument of stone.
In the evening, you'll be escorted to the train station to catch your sleeper train back to Cairo.

Note: For an additional $110, you can have a Hot Balloon trip. Should you want to make your stay in Luxor an unforgettable experience. Drifting peacefully over the Valley of King, Valley of the Queens and the Mountain on the Nobles.

Day 8: Travel from Cairo to Alexandria

When you arrive to Cairo, It'll be time for a road trip, you'll head from Cairo to Alexandria. You'll start by visiting the Roman Amphitheater, which is the only one of its type in Egypt. The theatre used to host huge ceremonies and events with a capacity of 600 spectators on marble seats. Afterwards, you'll visit Pompey's Pillar, which is the name given to this Roman triumphal column; set up in honor of the Augustus Diocletian between 298-302 AD. You’ll finish our Roman Era exploration with the Catacombs of Kom Ash Shuqqafa; these catacombs make up the largest-known Roman burial site in Egypt and one of the last major works of construction dedicated to the religion of ancient Egypt. They were originally constructed in the 2nd century AD.
You'll later stroll through the garden of Montazah and visit Alexandria's enormous library and cultural center. And while in Alexandria, we can't of course forget the Citadel of Qaitbay. You'll spend the night in your hotel in Alexandria.

Day 9: Travel back to Cairo

After breakfast, you will be escorted back to Cairo. Our representative will drive you to your hotel to check in and spend the day there.

Optional Plans:
1- For an additional $65 per person, you can tour some of Cairo's most beautiful monuments. Thirty kilometers away from Cairo lies the site of Saqqara where pyramid building in Egypt first began. There, the Step Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid, and the Red Pyramid are magnificent reminders of the early architecture of the pharaohs and some of the Old Kingdom's most dazzling treasures.
We’ll continue with a drive to one of the oldest and most important cities in ancient Egypt, Memphis. There you'll get to see a monumental statue of Ramses II and a beautiful sphinx carved from a single, enormous piece of alabaster. Afterwards, you'll be taken back to your hotel to call it a night.
2-Half day Coptic Cairo 65 USD person. This tour focuses mainly on Coptic Cairo. Around Fort Babylon, Egyptian Christians’ oldest churches were built. In addition to being the destination of pilgrimage for people of different religions all over the world, this area holds ruins of the Roman fortifications and several churches. During this tour, you will be visiting Coptic Museum which has the largest collection of Christian artifacts in the world, the church of St Sergius (Abu Serga) which is believed is the spot where the Holy Family rested at the end of their journey to Egypt, the church of St. Barbara, the hanging church, and the old Jewish synagogue (Ben Ezra Synagogue).:

3- For an additional $45, you can have dinner over a Nile view with a show of a belly dancer and Tanura. Transportation is covered.

Day 10: Head to Airport for Departure

After breakfast and as per the requested time, our representative will pick you up and drive you to the airport. You will be assisted with the procedures and you'll catch your flight home.
