Day 1: Arrival to Cairo

When arriving to Cairo, our representative from GEM Explore Egypt will be waiting for you to help with passport control and luggage. Later on, they'll drive you in our private car to your hotel, to settle and get some rest.

Meals: N/A

For an additional $45, you can have dinner over a Nile view with a show of a belly dancer and Tanura. Transportation is covered.

Day 2: Visit Cairo tours

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by GEM Explore Egyptologist to start your journey across Giza and Cairo. The tour will start by visiting the museum of Egyptian Antiques, the home of 120,000 of ancient Egyptian Antiques Collection that dates up to 6000 years old, including the Tutankhamun exhibit, which contains his golden Mask and jewelry.
In the afternoon and after lunch, you'll tour the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. After that, you will have a 20-minute camel ride across the great Pyramids and visit the Panoramic Place. Then, the tour will continue by visiting the Valley Temple of Khafre.
We can't miss spending an unforgettable night at Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. The Bazaar is in the historic center of Cairo; It was established as a center of trade in the Mamluk era. The Bazaar has various products of all kinds and shapes, from Silver, Copper, Brassware to Gold and Leather Goods. You'll later be taken back to your hotel.

Day 3: Trip to Alexandria, and back to Cairo

Time for our road trip, after breakfast you'll head from Cairo to Alexandria. You'll start by visiting the Roman Amphitheater, which is the only one of its type in Egypt. The theatre used to host huge ceremonies and events with a capacity of 600 spectators on marble seats. Afterwards, you'll visit Pompey's Pillar, which is the name given to this Roman triumphal column; set up in honor of the Augustus Diocletian between 298-302 AD. You’ll finish our Roman Era exploration with the Catacombs of Kom Ash Shuqqafa; these catacombs make up the largest-known Roman burial site in Egypt and one of the last major works of construction dedicated to the religion of ancient Egypt. They were originally constructed in the 2nd century AD.
You'll later stroll through the garden of Montazah and visit Alexandria's enormous library and cultural center. And while in Alexandria, we can't of course forget the Citadel of Qaitbay.
You'll later head back to Cairo and off to your hotel.

Day 4: Old Cairo Visit

Pick Up from Requested Location by GEM Explore Egyptologist to start your Journey across Old Cairo. The tour starts by visiting Coptic Cairo. Around Fort Babylon, Egyptian Christians’ oldest churches were built. In addition to being the destination of pilgrimage for people of different religions all over the world, this area holds ruins of the Roman fortifications and several churches. During this tour, you will be visiting Coptic Museum which has the largest collection of Christian artifacts in the world, the church of St Sergius (Abu Serga) which is believed is the spot where the Holy Family rested at the end of their journey to Egypt, the church of St. Barbara, the hanging church, and the old Jewish synagogue (Ben Ezra Synagogue).

Then, the tour will continue by visiting the Citadel of Cairo, where with its huge altitude due to the towering minarets, you will be looking out across Islamic Cairo and its skyline. Also, you will visit the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammed Ali Pasha.
Then, the tour continues by visiting Islamic Cairo. It is the area that holds the greatest and most famous Islamic monuments. The place was founded by Amr Ibn Al-A'as by 640 AD. The Islamic Cairo tour starts by visiting Amr Ibn AL-A'as Mosque, which is the first mosque structure ever built in Egypt and Africa in 641-642 AD in Egypt's center at that time, Fustat. The tour continues by visiting Mosque-Madrassa of Al Sultan Hassan. Thee Mosque was built between 1356 and 1363 AD by order of Al Sultan Hassan-An-Nassir; it is known as and architectural wonder by its fascinating size and Mamluki Islamic designs. The tour then continues by visiting AL Rifa'ei Mosque, which was built with more of a modern design in the nineteenth century to complement its fourteenth century neighbor.
Then, we end the day with a visit to one of the holiest Islamic sites in Egypt, Al-Hussein mosque and you'll later be escorted back to your hotel.

Day 5: Cairo to Luxor, Luxor tours

After breakfast, you will be picked up and dropped off at the Cairo international airport to fly to Luxor. When you arrive, our GEM explore representative will be waiting to pick you up and assist you with all procedures. You'll immediately start your full day tour at the west bank of Luxor. Starting with a tour to see the beautifully painted royal tombs at the valley of kings. For over a thousand years, the kings, queens, and nobles of the New Kingdom (1500-1070 B.C.) were buried in this valley, which is the world's most magnificent burial ground. During our excursion at the Valley of kings, you'll visit the temple of Deir El-Bahri, which means in Arabic, the “Temple of the Northern Monastery”. Your next stop will be the classical pieces of art, Hatshepsut's temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Later, you'll have some tea in the afternoon and some free time and will spend the night in Luxor.

Day 6: Continue Luxor tours, fly to Sharm

Today after breakfast, you are visiting one of Luxor's primary temples, the Luxor temple. To the rear of the temple are chapels built by Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty, and Alexander. Other parts of the temple were built by Tutankhamun and Ramesses II. During the Roman era, the temple and its surroundings were a legionary fortress and the home of the Roman government in the area.
You'll continue the tour at the center of Luxor, the east bank, where you'll have an excursion to some of Luxor's temples including Karnak. Karnak remains the most remarkable religious complex ever built on earth. Its 250 acres of temples and chapels, obelisks, columns, and statues were built over 2,000 years. It visualizes Egyptian art and architecture into a great historical monument of stone. You'll later be dropped off at the Luxor airport to catch your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting to pick you up and take you to your hotel.

Day 7: Free day with optional Dahab and Nuweibaa tours

After breakfast, you'll have a free day to spend the way you like.
Optional plan:
For $75 per person, you can have a tour to the Canyon, Nuweibaa and Dahab. It starts at 5:30am, a jeep will pick you up and drive you to the canyon (2.5 hours drive). You'll hike through the canyon and when you come out from the other side, the jeep will be waiting for you. On your way back you'll stop in Nuweibaa for lunch then drive to Dahab for some shopping. Afterwards, you'll head back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and spend the night.

Day 8: Free day with Scuba diving tours

After breakfast, you'll have a free day to spend the way you like.
Optional plan:
For an additional $65 per person, you can have a full day boat trip crossing Ras Nasrani, a seaside area with a coral reef popular for snorkeling & scuba diving amid rich marine life. You'll start with visiting the Garden reef sharks bay at Ras Nasrani. You might also have the time to visit two of the top diving spots in the world, Jackson reef and Woodhouse reef. They receive thousands of tourists every year from all over the world. It will all depend on the sea and weather conditions. You'll later have lunch on board and then head back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 9: Drop-off at Sharm El Sheikh Airport

After breakfast, our representative will assist you with your check out and will drop you off at the airport to catch your flight back home.
