Travel Itinerary

- Visit Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx

Pick Up from Requested Location by GEM Explore Egyptologist to start your Journey across Cairo. The Tour will start by visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. Then, the tour will continue by vising the Valley Temple of Khafre, where is the reception of the royal body of Khafre. The Valley Temple was built for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and a head of King Khafre.

- Visit Coptic Cairo

After a Water and Lunch Break, the tour will continue by by visiting Coptic Cairo. Around Fort Babylon, Egyptian Christians’ oldest churches were built. In addition to being the destination of pilgrimage for people of different religions all over the world, this area holds ruins of the Roman fortifications and several churches. During this tour, the church of St Sergius (Abu Serga) which is believed is the spot where the Holy Family rested at the end of their journey to Egypt, the church of St. Barbara, the hanging church, and the old Jewish synagogue (Ben Ezra Synagogue).

- Visit Khan El-Khalili Bazaar

Then, the tour continues by visiting Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. The Bazaar is in the historic center of Cairo; It was established as a center of trade in the Mamluk era. The Bazaar has various products of all kind and shapes; not limited to Silver, Copper, Brassware, Gold and Leather Goods.

- Drop Off at Cairo Airport

Finally, the tour finishes usually at 4 PM by dropping off the Customer at Cairo Airport.
